Tomorrow, Beijing wakes out of its Spring Festival slumber and things start to get back to "normal".
Today, however, a foot of gray, slushy snow has blanketed the city -- the perfect setting for the holiday blues.
Speaking of melancholia -- I've always dug Blonde Redhead -- they're moody, weird and apparently quite rude (they once stayed at a friend of mine's apartment in Austin after a show and left the next day with nary a word of "thanks" or "goodbye") -- but their music is always compelling and well-produced.
Their newest album is Misery is a Butterfly and can be purchased by clicking here.
